Elizabeth Ireland is a mission-driven communicator and social worker with a passion for advancing community-focused initiatives. With a background in macro social work, she brings a systems-level perspective to her work, helping organizations translate big ideas into meaningful impact. Her strengths lie in storytelling within grant proposals, program development, and a strong attention to detail—skills she’s used to secure funding and build sustainable programs that serve diverse communities.

In addition to her technical expertise, Elizabeth is known for her ability to build genuine, trusting relationships. She listens deeply to the needs and goals of the organizations she works with, ensuring her contributions are not only strategic but truly aligned with their mission and values. Her empathetic, collaborative approach allows her to understand and amplify the unique voice of each organization, making her a valued partner in both planning and execution.

Elizabeth extends this commitment to her personal life as well. She is raising three children to be engaged citizens who are committed to the wellbeing of others. Together, they serve as Little Free Library stewards in their neighborhood, promoting literacy and access to books. Elizabeth also shares her voice as a writer for the Detroit Mom Blog, where she uplifts stories that foster connection and community among mothers.
